Every project is different in many ways, so each is priced per job. We do not charge per hour, as we often find that method gets abused.
Technically put, graphics designers produce digital masters of images for your professional use. They can layout posters, tablecards, cd printings, newspaper advertising, website buttons, flash objects, etc... all in the proper format for what you're doing. Sometimes the graphics come from you and you only need it touched up and converted for proper use, other times you need the ideas, too. Web design covers a variety of disciplines, not just graphics design. RattleHead web designers are experienced in PERL, ASP, PHP, Python, Flash, Java, CSS, DHTML, JavaScript -- we can handle just about any situation. We have created sites from nothing to full release, we've restyled existing sites, or even just tweaked a server script or two.
The one thing we're not good at around here, however, is putting a portfolio together on a regular basis. We've laid out hundreds of flyers and posters, some are in our gallery.
