The Charms, Object Permenance, and the Mockingbirds 12.05.02 @ The Blackstone

So da diggla is lovin the blackstone thing tonight. Three bands -- count em, three -- with chicks at the wheel.

The first band, the Charms, was from boston, but don't hold that aginst them, cause they rock mighily. They got some mean doors-like keyboards going on which i dont usually like, but the brunette playing them is too damn cute. the blonde up front is a little firecracker, lemme tell ya. their sound is a little like Jan and Dean meet Joan Jett. Their sound reeks of bad grrrls... and not the bad girls in dude where's my car ("we are not guys, we are hot chicks"), but the girls in reefer madness--running into the ocean, laughing all the way. Mad baked.

Object Permenance has a slinky lead singer that really moves in a nice way. Da diggla knows all about that scene. The band has a bluesy Creedish kind of sound that goes well with bud light or red bull. that kinda flexability always makes me happy. There was this time... oh never mind. The drummer is a monster, and was louder than the whole band sometimes... a masta slamma from way back i can tell. The dude rocked.

Florida was never so sunny as when Heather from the Mockingbirds hit the stage. She has this orange shirt that says Florida and all I can think of is juicy. Da diggla's in mad sick love. Smoove B aint got nuthin on me. I love the mockingbirds, i always have. this newest configuration has them pumped, and ive never seen them happier.

Y'all know that when da Diggla needs to find the top shelf honeys, he goes to the Mastamindz. An that's not the only reason to come down to the show tonight. Four o the best bands are playing right now... Immune, The Stereobirds (with the smokin hot Heather Rose), Immune, M-80, and Mastamindsz (of course). Whatta craaazy night. That's a too much Tequila wake up on the bathroom floor kinda show. M-freakin'-80. Thats all I gotta say, right? Holy crap.
