reetings fellowviewers, How are you? No...really, how are you? Assuming you said"Good" or "pretty good" I'll tell you what I think it is that youshould know, and we can all get back to our busy schedules. Okay?...OK. Now.. This Saturday night, April 19th at Great Scott in good ol'nostalgic Allston Rock City, a real, living Boston Folk Blues artistnamed Shoney Lamar opens up the show at 9 p.m. and will bring the rawenergy much needed to propel this night of music off into the heavensand back again in an unrealistic amount of time. Ellis Ashbrookspeaks @ 10:00 P.M. on some decidedly pressing issues. The superb,Surrealist pop rock icons Left Hand Does will sculpt Great Scott'swonderfully sounding air with luminous, melodic idiosyncrasies(featuring a key-member in the Ellis Ashbrook saga, the formidableRyan Gildea) at 11:00 P.M. The Shills are left with the dauntingresponsibility of bringing the show to an ecstatic climax, inducingfrenzy with their unbridled passion for Champaign-esque rock and/orroll and then letting us down softly and easily so that we may bask inthe rich, effervescent afterglow. Please come and join us if you arefree. It would be ever so delightful. In the meantime remember toforgive everyone, especially yourself. Ellis Ashbrook
